Grants

LEEF grants offer many benefits

To date, LEEF has funded sixteen grant cycles, totaling over one million dollars. These grants benefit a broad spectrum of items - computer software and hardware, musical instruments, academic programs and materials, foreign language training, teacher training, and more.

LEEF is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization whose mission is to create and maintain a fund for the benefit of Longmeadow Public School students. This fund provides grants, beyond the tax-supported budget, for innovative education and enrichment programs. This allows LEEF to fund innovative educational projects outside of the normal school budget, including but not limited to (i) consultants, guest speakers, artists and performers, (ii) tuition and training related to teacher projects (including professional development); and (iii) equipment, materials, supplies required for specific projects.
